| Ed HerrNeckar, Major, US Army Retired, established Saw'em, Sand'em and Screw'em in 2001. Ed flew Cobra attack helicopters and served two years in Viet Nam, way back in the late 60s and early 70s. After 20 years he retired from the army in 1978. Ed worked for AT&T for a few years, then in 1989 he founded Cooperative Communications, Inc., an independent telecom agency www.CooperativeCom.com. Cooperative is a business partner of Qwest, Sprint, AT&T, Level 3 and several other major carriers. Cooperative is retained by those carriers to perform sales and customer service functions in support of business customers around the country. Cooperative significantly enhances the level of support and service these customers receive. Ed left Cooperative Communications in 2000, but still serves on it's Board of Directors. According to Ed "The creativity and craftsmanship of Saw'em, Sand'em and Screw'em is owed in large part to Mr. Robinson, my shop teacher at Dalton, NY Central School. Mr. Robinson was a very good teacher, he kindly and generously gave of his time and knowledge, imparting to all of his students skills to use throughout their lives. In my younger years I occasionally thought of Mr. Robinson and the impact he had on my life, now in my woodshop I think of him often, and especially when I create something I think he would like." |
